The success of the Grauburgunder (PINOT GRIS) wines is not least due to the fact that these wines can be used anywhere. Hardly any wine offers such a wide spectrum of dishes that it can accompany. The balanced nature, coupled with depth and strength are the attractive attributes of these wines.
WINE Creamy fine aromas reminiscent of nut, flatter the nose. Powerful, complex structure on the palate with striking length and elegance. SOIL Predominantly variegated sandstone with some limestone and loam HARVEST In the 2012 vintage the Pinot varieties were all harvested end of September / Beginning of Oktober YIELD approx. 60 hl/ha FINISHING Carefully finished, completely fermented in large wooden casks, racking in stainless steel at the end of October. Filling January 2013. CAN BE STORED up to the end of 2015 RECOMMENDED DISHES Fish skin-roasted, slightly stronger spices, roast meat with brown sauces, vegetables by all means dressed more opulently and intensively.
